The 'Historical Grand Prix' held at the beginning of the month was already a great appetiser and a big success.

The mythical race that every driver dreams to win attracts visitors coming from all over the world to enjoy an exciting weekend watching and supporting their favourite Formula 1 stars trying to be the first one to cross the finish line at the end of 78 laps.

Held for the first time in 1929 the Grand Prix has become a very historical event. Its claim to fame lies in the beauty of the circuit offering amazing views over the French Riviera and the harbour of Monaco hosting some of the most exclusive and luxurious yachts in the world. The 3.34 km long circuit is supposed to be one of the most dangerous and challenging ones making the race an extremely hard one for the drivers.

Even though the Grand Prix was definitely the highlight, the principality of Monaco always offers a diversity of Grand Prix related events and cultural highlights before the big race including a collective exhibition on the theme of 'Grand Prix: Artworks', an exhibition of 'Speed Motoring Art' and even an auction of the world's amazing cars including Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher's car from the Austrian Grand Prix of 2000.
