Sydney Guide Now Distributed To Domestic Passengers

Destination NSW has arranged for The Official Sydney Guide to be distributed at Sydney Airport’s domestic terminal T2 on an ongoing basis. Commencing from last week, the guide is being given to visitors by the airport’s Gold Ambassadors. The ambassadors, easily recognisable by their gold jackets, provide assistance and information to passengers at T1 and T2.

The Official Sydney Guide is also distributed airside in the International Terminal and in Accredited Visitor Information Centres and key tourism outlets across Greater Sydney.

It contains maps and information on attractions, accommodation, “things to see and do”, shopping, events and transport in Sydney.

The guide is free of charge and more than one million copies are printed bi-annually in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. It is produced in partnership by Destination NSW, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and the City of Sydney.

Last year, Destination NSW signed a partnership agreement with Sydney Airport to work together on joint marketing initiatives to attract new airlines and routes to Sydney and opportunities to enhance the passenger experience at Sydney Airport. So far, they have jointly announced the arrival of low cost carriers Scoot and Air Asia X to Sydney, with flights to start later this year.

Advertising and coupon opportunities are available for Sydney operators to feature in the guide. For more information please contact the publishers, Hardie Grant Magazines on (02) 9908 8222.
